Designer Jurgen Dahlmanns has once again created a stunning new range of rugs, this time by the recycling of wool & silk from previous projects.
Once these raw materials were gathered up, they have been tie dyed, or double & triple dyed, to create a riot of colour & texture, & a completely new outlook on rug design.
There is no chance involved however; each rug is drawn out on a rug sized graph for the weavers to work to, but the natural variation of the dyeing process, & colour take up of the materials, makes each production highly individual & a veritable treasure.
