Achieved through using the finest wools & silks our weavers are able to fashion the most cutting edge creations using centuries old indigenous technique.
This coupled with our association with some of the top textile designers from around the globe brings to life an extraordinary range of stylish rugs in an abundance of textures & colour palettes.
Many of our collections can be adjusted by size, colour; design and textures to suit your own unique environment.

Bazaar Velvet is proud to be part of a joint venture with our producer to ensure the welfare of the rug weaving community. This venture called Shopta, provides a welfare umbrella for those engaged in the making of all hand woven rugs that we commission.This includes ensuring safe clean water supplies as well as providing medical care & housing for the weavers. An education programme is an essential part of this project enabling the children of the community a greater scope for furthering themselves while their parents work & expanding their possibilities for the future.You can be assured therefore that no child labour has been employed in making your rug & that part of your purchase has gone towards the furthering of this most worthy project.
